Highlights from the new spring menu

Starters / Salads / Soups

Antipasti Misti Platter: Antipasti (singular term: antipasto) is the traditional first course in an Italian meal. This platter has a little bit of everything, with a variety of meats as well as cheeses, olives, and marinated peppers. It’s the perfect starter to share.

Suggested drink pairing: Appetizers with a melange of flavors can be paired with a variety of drinks. If you’re more of an aperitif type of person, any of the cocktails from our “Specialty Cocktails” menu, including our Sangria options, are a great choice; sparkling or rosé wine also make for an elegant pairing.

Italian Wedding Soup: This is the ultimate comfort food soup. It includes meatballs made from pork and parmesan, and features escarole and white beans. It’s hearty, delicious, and addictive.

Suggested drink pairing: The rich flavors of this soup pair well with a fruit-forward red. Try it with a glass of Malbec or Merlot!

Pasta / Main Dishes

Chicken Saltimbocca: This elegant chicken dish is made with mozzarella and prosciutto, and scented with sage. The fresh sage gives it a pleasing, earthy flavor perfect for Spring.

Suggested drink pairing: The savory and earthy flavors in this dish pair well with a white wine such as Pinot Grigio, which has hints of honey and lemon.

Risotto Frutti di Mare: In Italian, frutti di mare means “fruit of the sea”. This aromatic dish certainly features the best of the ocean’s bounty, with scallops, shrimp, calamari-garlic, seafood broth, and white wine.

Suggested drink pairing: This brothy and somewhat salty dish is made with white wine, so choose more white wine to drink with it! A dry Sauvignon Blanc is an ideal pairing, offering a pleasingly acidic contrast.

Rotisserie Chicken: Enjoy the roasty-toasty rich flavor of rotisserie chicken with rosemary, olives, and capers. It’s a richly flavored and deeply satisfying dish.

Suggested drink pairing: An aromatic white wine such as a Chardonnay pairs well with the rosemary-infused chicken; if you’re more of a red wine fan, you’ll pick up the rosemary flavor with a Pinot Noir.

Shrimp and Clam Scampi: You’ve never tasted shrimp scampi like this; clams add a unique and different flavor to the classic dish. Ours is served with garlic chili broth and an irresistible wood roasted garlic bread.

Suggested drink pairing: A white wine such as Pinot Grigio is a great pairing for this brothy dish, as it will add a little bit of contrast without conflicting with the ocean-forward flavors.

Spaghetti Carbonara: Comfort food at its best. At Bottiglia, we make our Carbonara with pancetta, peas, parmesan cheese, and a poached egg on top. Perfection!

Suggested drink pairing: A white wine with a little zing will help offer an acidic contrast to the rich flavors in the sauce. Try it with a Sauvignon Blanc!

Veal Chop Parmesan: Love Chicken and/or Eggplant Parmesan? Try our Veal Chop Parmesan next for a new flavor sensation. A breaded, bone-in chop is served with mozzarella and Parmesan, and it tastes glorious.

Suggested drink pairing: It’s gotta be red! A medium fruit-forward wine like Merlot is a perfect pairing with a Parmesan dish.

Veal Ossobucco: If you’ve never sampled this slow-cooked masterpiece of Italian cookery, this is a great version to try. At Bottiglia, our unforgettable Veal Ossobucco is made with Sangiovese wine, creamy polenta, and mirepoix (a French mixture of vegetables).

Suggested drink pairing: Since the dish is made with Sangiovese, it’s a natural pairing to enjoy it with a glass of the same. If you want to try something different, a Barbera is also a great pairing for this slow-cooked dish.

Vegan Bolognese: Vegans, rejoice! Bottiglia’s new menu includes a delicious new vegan option that is so tasty, it might even convert a few carnivores to the veg side of things. This creative chickpea-based Bolognese is made with gluten free pasta and served with almond ricotta. You’ve got to try it!

Suggested drink pairing: The earthy flavor of the chickpeas makes this a natural pairing with a glass of Pinot Noir.

Wood Baked Rigatoni: This is not your average rigatoni dish! Our wood baked rigatoni is served with pork meatballs, cherry peppers, and ricotta. It will quickly become an addiction that you won’t want to shake.

Suggested drink pairing: Classic reds pair well here. Try this dish with a Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, or even a red blend.
