We’re falling in love with Italy all over again this Valentine’s Day. On their quest to create the perfect options for lovers to enjoy on their special evening out our chefs put love into the air quite literally… and by that we mean they cooked up some really great smells in the kitchen here at Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca!
If you’re a regular here at the Green Valley Ranch in Henderson you know by now that few restaurants compare to the chic yet serene ambiance seen here at Bottiglia. If you have never dined with us we’d love for you to visit! From the floral decor to hand-painted murals located on the patio, it’s the perfect setting for a romantic Valentine’s dinner for two.
To start off the night… We recommend Oysters on the Half-Shell, which for this special occasion, are being served with a whole bottle of house wine for a discounted price. These oysters are hand-sourced from the freshest selections weekly and served with a delicious Red Wine Mignonette. There’s three for each of you! So be sure to share.
Seafood is abundant on the special Valentine’s Day menu, but first, let’s choose a wine to go well with your dinner selections. You can see our wonderful wine selections here, some of our recommendations include Pascal Jolivet – a bright and crisp wine from Sancerre, France, it tastefully goes with our seafood selections thanks to its fruit-forward flavors. Another option that fits any palette is Bon Jovy’s popular rose ́ Diving into Hampton Waters; it soft and supple flavors of pear and citrus blend well especially with the Pan-Fried Branzino offered as a Valentine’s Day special. If lighter wines are not preferred one very unique red is the Emeritus made at Hallberg Ranch in Russian River California, it’s a medium-bodied red packed full of flavors of black cherry that pairs rather incredibly with the Frutti di Mare special.
Chef Anthony Ramirez’ final entree special is a popular returning item, The Ultimate Surf n’ Turf, which is a Wood-Grilled Filet Mignon served with a Crab Stuffed Lobster tail. This selection deserves a bold-flavored red wine like Nickel & Nickel from Hayne Vineyard in
Napa Valley. The bold and oak-aged flavors pair nicely with the tender cuts of Filet Mignon.
To make your Valentine’s dinner even more of a romantic occasion, a house favorite performer makes his way back to Henderson. Cameron Dettman takes the stage from 6-9 PM here at Bottiglia.
